Ironstate Development/ Roseland Residential Trust
Together with Ironstate Development and Roseland Residential Trust, Concrete of Amsterdam transformed Harborside, a successful business and commercial center, into a signature waterfront living concept. The overall plan for the site includes three 69-story towers comprising of 2,358 residences. The first phase of the project, Jersey City URBY, is a 762-unit residential tower rising 69 stories tall above New Jersey completed in early 2017.
Jersey City URBY is the second building developed under the URBY brand that caters to the ever-changing demands of the modern urban citizen. With a signature design that achieves tremendous living density in a very small footprint, URBY represents unprecedented value for money and a truly connected living experience through smart apartments and unique communal facilities and programming. In addition, the project will add public spaces and retail vibrancy to the neighborhood, as well as access to the nearby PATH station, the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, and nearby ferry.
Minno & Wasko acted as the National Green Building Standard (NGBS) verifier for this project ensuring green building practices were successfully incorporated throughout design and construction. Since completion, the project has received Silver certification and of over 100,000 units certified in the United States, it is the tallest structure at 69 stories certified under the program.
